WHAT IS BEAR VISION?
Bear Vision is an Indigenous owned business created in 2000 to assist Indigenous organizations, First Nations communities, Industry partners and government in the employment and training sector.
This is accomplished through a wholistic process that will create an understanding of their respective individual and unique needs. Bear Vision is committed to the development of culturally appropriate employment and training models which are facilitated through a wholistic approach that honor and reflect Indigenous ways of knowing and being.
Denyse is owner of Bear Vision Consulting & Training and the Founder & COO for Tribalure Cosmetics & Skin Care Inc., an Indigenous woman owned cosmetics company. Further to this, Denyse is the Board President, and her primary role is to ensure that the board is effective in setting and implementing the company’s strategic directions and overseeing the business and setting high governance standards.
Denyse’s is ‘Kokokoo Ik8e’ (Screech Owl Woman) of the Mak8a (Bear) clan from Apitipi Anicinapek Nation. Her “Kitchi mama’s (grandmothers) are Mary Black and Mary Nadon of Apitipi Anicinapek Nation. She is a daughter, granddaughter, sister, and auntie. She strives for wholistic health and embraces her Indigenous ways of knowing and being through the ceremonies that help to ground her in her identity as a proud Algonquin woman.

Bear Vision believes that Indigenous people, value visuals versus written and have developed a Training Model that is wholistic in nature and will include on-the-land cultural activities to be decided between the trainees, the client and the facilitator.
